In Romeo Gigli's new FW2024/25 collection, led by the creative vision of Alessandro De

Benedetti, the rise of ascetic elegance harmoniously merges with the essence of ultrasartorialism,

creating an ethereal atmosphere with timeless allure. Historical references

intertwine with a Pre-Raphaelite aesthetic, transforming each garment into an icon of

style and rigorous eccentricity.

The pieces draw inspiration from 18th-century bishop's capes and the suggestive imagery

of women painted by Lucian Freud, blending sensuality and mysticism into a unique

vision. Sartorial research is expressed through the pinstripes of the early 20th century,

reinterpreted with a chevron effect and the purplish red tones reminiscent of blood stolen

from Canova's paintings, dyeing the triple enzyme-treated organza in pure silk.

With meticulous attention to tailoring cuts, each piece is designed to evoke the prestige
